Proclaiming Christ. Serving Our Community. Making Disciples.
The EBC Local GO Team exists to faithfully carry the gospel into our local mission field—the Skagit Valley. As a church, we desire to be obedient to Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations and to proclaim the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe that God has sovereignly placed EBC within our community and has called us to be faithful witnesses of His grace and truth. Through intentional relationships, acts of service, and the proclamation of Scripture, we seek to make Christ known and demonstrate His love to those around us.
Annual Trunk-or-Treat Outreach
We welcome our community to EBC through a family-friendly outreach featuring music, Bible-themed vehicles, food, candy, and a clear presentation of the gospel. Our desire is to use this opportunity to build relationships and faithfully proclaim the truth of God’s Word.
The EBC Local GO Team seeks to remain vigilant for opportunities to do good, build relationships, proclaim the gospel, and make disciples. We recognize that salvation belongs to the Lord, and we faithfully trust Him to use the ministry of His people and the proclamation of His Word according to His sovereign purposes.
Our desire is to faithfully go where God has placed us, serve others in Christ’s name, proclaim the truth of His Word, and make much of Jesus Christ.
Skagit Valley College
We engage students through gospel-centered conversations, Bible distribution, and Munch & Connect meals. By building genuine relationships, we seek opportunities to proclaim the gospel and point students to the hope found in Christ.
Friendship House Café
We serve meals to residents and those in need, seeking to meet practical needs while creating opportunities for gospel conversations, encouragement, and the distribution of biblical resources.
Safe Parking Program
We partner with Welcome Home Skagit to host individuals living in their vehicles. By providing a safe place to stay, a warm meal, friendship, and opportunities to attend EBC’s Equipping Hour and worship service, we seek to demonstrate Christ’s love through Christian hospitality while creating opportunities to point people to Jesus Christ.
